The Rescue Runway event is a unique fashion fundraiser organized to benefit the Humane Society of Fremont County. It combines style, compassion, and entertainment to raise critical funds for the medical care of animals in need.
The event features a remarkable runway show where Fremont Humane alumni, along with special four-legged friends, walk down the runway alongside models. Each participating dog takes part in two walks, the first highlighting their unique story and personality, and the second focusing on the fashion element.
For 2025, we're excited to present Margaritas & Mutts: Runway Edition at the beautiful White Water Bar & Grill. Guests will enjoy delicious food, refreshing drinks, and an entertaining runway show in a stunning outdoor setting.
All proceeds from the Rescue Runway event directly contribute to covering the medical expenses of the Humane Society of Fremont County, helping us treat every sick and injured animal that comes our way.

Where does the money raised from the event go?
The money raised from the Rescue Runway event goes directly towards covering the medical expenses of the Humane Society of Fremont County. The shelter incurs significant costs in providing necessary medical care for every sick and injured animal that comes into our care.

When and where is the 2025 Margaritas & Mutts event?
Our 2025 "Margaritas & Mutts: Runway Edition" will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the White Water Bar & Grill.
The venue is located at 45045 W U.S. 50, Cañon City, CO 81212. White Water Bar & Grill offers a beautiful outdoor setting perfect for our daytime celebration.
We recommend arriving a few minutes early to find parking and get settled before the event begins. Our volunteers will be on hand to help direct you to parking areas and answer any questions.
How much are tickets and how can I purchase them?
Individual tickets for Margaritas & Mutts: Runway Edition are available for purchase both online and at our shelter.

What should I wear to the event?
We encourage casual, comfortable attire suitable for a daytime outdoor event. Since Margaritas & Mutts is held outside at White Water Bar & Grill, we recommend:

- Sun protection (hats, sunglasses, sunscreen)
- Comfortable shoes suitable for outdoor terrain
- Layers in case of temperature changes

Can I bring my own dog to the event?
While we absolutely love all dogs, we kindly ask that you do not bring your personal pets to Margaritas & Mutts: Runway Edition.

Margaritas & Mutts: Runway Edition is an outdoor event, and we plan to proceed rain or shine! However, we understand that severe weather can impact outdoor events.

- In case of severe weather warnings or dangerous conditions, we have contingency plans in place
